Port Canaveral is located 42 miles
East of Orlando and Disney, near Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center, on Florida's Space
Coast.
Driving directions from Orlando International
Airport are as follows:
Take S.R. 528 (Beeline Expressway) East approximately
42 miles to the "B" Cruise Terminal/South Cargo Piers entrance of Port
Canaveral. (you will cross the Indian and Banana Rivers shortly before reaching the
"B" Cruise Terminal/South Cargo Piers entrance).
Take the off ramp exit at the "B" Cruise
Terminal/South Cargo Piers entrance. The off-ramp will lead you directly onto George King
Blvd (you will cross under an overpass at this point).
-
Travel approximately 1/2 mile to the first traffic
light and turn left onto Flounder Street. Proceed approximately 1/4 mile to Sunrise
Marina and Grills restaurant.
note: The street signs at this traffic light are a little confusing. If you
turn left, you turn onto Flounder Street - if you turn right, you turn onto Columbia Road.
The sign for Flounder Street hangs above the opposing traffic lane while the sign for
Columbia hangs over your lane of travel. You want to turn left onto Flounder
Street.
All trips depart from the private dock in front of
Sunrise Marina. Parking is available on the Eastern and Western sides of Sunrise Marina
and in the grass lot immediately East of the Freddy Patrick Park boat ramps. Please do not
park immediately in front (North) of Sunrise Marina as your vehicle will be subject to
tow. |
